IndieStyles has arrived! I’ve been inspired to create my own blog and out of all things, I’ve decided I want to share with you information, tips, anything about Indie fashion! Thanks goes to Style Bubble for most of my inspiration. I’ve become growingly interested in fashion and so to keep up my little obsession, a blog would be perfect!

Now, I am not an expert on Indie fashion. I am not a fashion designer either! I’m just a simple fan of Indie designs. Mainly I suppose on this blog I will be talking about my shopping adventures and Indie experiences!

Where I live, I can only mainly go to online shops for Indie designs.. Now for some of the people who don’t know what Indie means.. It’s short of Independent, have any of you heard of Indie music? It’s the same thing but instead it has to do with clothing. All of these fashion designers are not on contracts, do not work for anyone, completely independent. When they create a work of art, they put it up for sale online and wait for the money!

In my opinion, Indie style is very different and unique you could say. Patch work, original designs and patters with an amateur feel. Working independently is probably a lot of fun and much less stressful then having to meet deadlines and so forth (of course unless you have orders to fulfill!)

Man, I’m feeling pretty excited about this blog already! I’ll probably post multiple times a day knowing me… ;P

So.. to keep myself inspired, during my life away from the computer I’ll be keeping my eyes open for great Indie clothing, probably bring my camera around everywhere I go. My blog will probably be very opinionated because I have strong.. opinions! I will probably post a lot of pictures and interact with my readers, it’ll be a fun blog!
