I’ve stumbled upon a very good find, and it’s called indiesave.com! They don’t actually sell clothing, but more nicknacks, furniture and jewelry. One crazy example of a piece of furniture would be the Pencil Bench. I’m not sure what good this so-called bench would do, but you’ll never be short a pencil, thats for sure! I also definitely like how the pencils are pink and only pink. It’s selling for a whopping &2,800!

Crazy eh? Lets see what other wonderfully creative works there are… There’s this interesting children’s furniture.. though the first glance I took of this, I thought it didn’t look all that safe, but hey it’s from New Zealand. They also come in multiple pretty colors! What is most fascinating about this piece is it’s unique shape… It confuses me on how to sit on it! And this sells for $499.99 + $200 when shipping world wide!

I have found a great resource for everything indie! You need to check out i shop indie. At their site they support about 12 independent designers, all with very beautiful creations! Some of my favorites are Shana Logic and Bonbi Forest.

Lets talk more about the specific designers. The owners at i shop indie stated, “Shana Logic is an alternative to shopping at chain stores. The site features handcrafted items from over 100 artists around the world!” My personal favorites would have to be the Punk Heart Padlock Choker. This piece of jewelry is crafted out of metal, and the padlock is approximately 1-1/2″ wide. Whats even more cute is that you can get a pair of key earrings to go along with your necklace for an extra $4.00! The price is $32.00 not including the earrings. Its a little high for me, but seems worth it! It’s sexy, punky and stylish!

Okay before I move on, I need to show you some really cute shirts that I am dying for and hoping to purchase soon. First I want to start off with the Stormy Love V-Neck Tee, I seriously need this shirt and will get it!! And also, I need to put the spotlight on the Spaceships & Stars Tee, these are two very cute shirts that I recommend to everyone!.. Well, every girl. But anywho..! Both crafted by the lovely Kid-Pirate (creator of many VERY wonderful works at Shana Logic). You know, I really love the prices at Shana Logic, they make me very happy! For this one shirt, it costs $18.00! I think that’s a great price, for such a cute shirt? Definitely.

Now lets talk a little bit about Bonbi Forest. First I need to say, their site is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life and I’ve seen a lot of websites. It’s original, colorful and really grabs my attention. And their collection of merchandise just blows me away! I didn’t think it could happen, but all of the merchandise is even cuter then the website! I definitely love the color that I see on every page. First I must say I really dig the Womens wear and also the mens wear. Though I do not prefer the long style as shown here..

In my opinion it doesn’t seem all that flattering to the body no matter how skinny you are. But wait! A shirt I do love would be the Kissing Birds Pink Burnout tee and the Candy Stripe Silhouettes tee..

IndieStyles has arrived! I’ve been inspired to create my own blog and out of all things, I’ve decided I want to share with you information, tips, anything about Indie fashion! Thanks goes to Style Bubble for most of my inspiration. I’ve become growingly interested in fashion and so to keep up my little obsession, a blog would be perfect!

Now, I am not an expert on Indie fashion. I am not a fashion designer either! I’m just a simple fan of Indie designs. Mainly I suppose on this blog I will be talking about my shopping adventures and Indie experiences!

Where I live, I can only mainly go to online shops for Indie designs.. Now for some of the people who don’t know what Indie means.. It’s short of Independent, have any of you heard of Indie music? It’s the same thing but instead it has to do with clothing. All of these fashion designers are not on contracts, do not work for anyone, completely independent. When they create a work of art, they put it up for sale online and wait for the money!

In my opinion, Indie style is very different and unique you could say. Patch work, original designs and patters with an amateur feel. Working independently is probably a lot of fun and much less stressful then having to meet deadlines and so forth (of course unless you have orders to fulfill!)

Man, I’m feeling pretty excited about this blog already! I’ll probably post multiple times a day knowing me… ;P

So.. to keep myself inspired, during my life away from the computer I’ll be keeping my eyes open for great Indie clothing, probably bring my camera around everywhere I go. My blog will probably be very opinionated because I have strong.. opinions! I will probably post a lot of pictures and interact with my readers, it’ll be a fun blog!
